AFCAT 2018 Apply Online For Flying Branch and Ground Duty

Indian Air Force has released AFCAT 2018 notification for Commissioned Officers (both men and women). Eligible and interested candidates can apply online from the IAF AFCAT Recruitment portal at afcat.cdac.in. Candidates who will clear the AFCAT 2018 exam will be recruited in Flying and Ground Duty staff in Indian Air Force. The last date to fill AFCAT application form is extended to 23rd January 2018.

  • Visit the official website of Indian Air Force recruitment at afcat.cdac.in
  • Now click on Candidate Login tab at top of page
  • Click on Register Here link in the login section
  • The IAF Registration Form will open
  • Enter your Name and personal information
  • Provide your E-mail address and mobile number
  • Select security question and provide answer in case you forget password
  • Enter the security code and click on sign up
  • Once your registration is complete fill the AFCAT application form
  • Pay the application fees if applicable
  • Finally submit the form and print it for future use

Eligibility Criteria

  • Flying Branch: Candidates should have done B.E./B.Tech. degree from a recognized college and passed 12th class with mathematics and physics
  • Ground Duty Staff: Candidates should have done a 4 year degree programme and passed cleared Sections A and B Examination of Associate Membership of Institution of Engineers (India) or Aeronautical Society of India for technical post
  • Non-Technical (Ground Duty): Candidate should have done B.Com from a recognized college with 60% marks
  • Age of the candidate should be above 20 years and less than 24 years (Flying) and 26 years (Ground Duty)

Selection Process

  • Candidates will be selected on the basis of AFCAT Exam. This year the AFCAT 2018 exam will be conducted online
  • Selected candidates will then undergo Psychological Test, Group Tests and Personal Interview.
  • The Final merit list will be published on the website and individuals will be notified individually
