e-utthaan.gov.in e-Utthan Portal to Monitor Allocation for Welfare to Scheduled Caste

The Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment developed an online portal to check the allocation of welfare to people who belongs to Scheduled Caste. Also, the ministry started another portal stcmis.gov.in for Scheduled Tribe Component (STC) Monitoring System. Here you can check the funds and schemes for SC/ ST communities

For the upliftment of scheduled caste and scheduled tribe communities the government launched various schemes. These schemes came under various departments and ministries. Check out the features of e-utthan portal and its use in government welfare schemes for SC/ST.

eUtthaan Portal for Scheduled Caste

The portal brings all the departments and ministries allocation at single platform

  • There are about 233 schemes for scheduled caste and 273 schemes with ST component
  • Around 26 government departments have introduced welfare schemes for SC and ST
  • You can check the allocation for welfare of scheduled caste (AWSC) in graphical chart
  • The amount released and allocated by education department, health department, and others is listed on the chart
  • You can check the financial summary 2017-18 online for each department

While the portal helps department and ministries to upload the data, it also provide transparency in the funds allocation and distribution. Citizens can check the schemes offered by various departments and apply for the scheme from useful link sections

Schemes for SC/ ST at e-Utthan and STC Monitoring System

As per the numbers on the portal there is about Rs.52,392.55 crore AWSC allocation and Rs.31,202.62 AWSC releases as on 4th January 2018. Coming to the number for Scheduled Tribes there is Rs.30970.49 Crore allocation under ST component and Rs.226654.01 crores sanctioned under ST component.
